What I've Been Doing
April 2016
It's been a busy few months! I moved back to Cambridge in September last year and spent six months working for the county council, which was hard work but enjoyable. Now I'm keeping busy with my patchwork of jobs and taking care of my partner Naomi and our rescue cat Paige. In the next couple of months we will probably be moving again, to an as yet undecided location, so I'm eagerly anticipating getting to arrange furniture, put up pictures, decorate and generally nest in a new home. Not so much excitement about all the packing and hulking of boxes that will precede the nesting, but needs must.
It has seemed a little as though winter would last forever, and in fact as I write this it is drizzling and dingy outside. We have had some lovely days though, and I've been enjoying the little bursts of spring as I cycle around the city. Magnolia trees in full bloom are possibly my favourite sight at this time of year, although there are some especially lovely blossom trees competing for the prize.
